Well, I can't really say much because there isn't too much to say, and I've been politely asked to keep my mouth shut.
After the two scrimmages a few weeks ago, the QB situation is still up in the air. Zeick and Luke were pretty equal, so it will probably end up coming down to the wire deciding who starts next season. A good competitive situation between the two.
With the recent leaving of a particular coach in the area, there's a possibility that we might end up..............
There's been a little bit of inside parental drama (not to the coaches personally, but to others associated with McKenzie Football) from a certain parent whose name I shall not mention, but has been known to raise an unnecessary stink because the coaches don't listen to their seemingly excellent advice. Like they seem to think they're smarter than Coach Comer and the rest of the staff.
Other than that...really all there is to say.

Hadn't heard anything, I could understand Swenson being in limbo, but personally I'm not sure it's his fault.
I personally believe that Coaches Mansfield and Pritchard retired for two reasons, one being they were ready to go, and two being that the saw what was coming to the football program, ahead of time. I believe they knew the upcoming classes weren't going to be terribly impressive, so it didn't entice them to stay. They didn't want to tarnish their legacy at Huntingdon, so they got out, knowing that the blame would be put on the new guy that came in, which turned out to be Swenson.
This summer/fall, Coach Comer is prolly gonna have a field day trying to decide who's going to be the quarterback.
As for the parent with all the information...let's just say I told him off one day and he hasn't said anything to me since.

I Sorta Felt Pritchard Would Leave. Hell He Help Found Mckenzie. Dude Is Older Than Dirt. LOL. And Swenson Svenson Whichever Stepped In On The Downswing. Being In 1A They'll Do Ok Til Greenfield Beats Them And Then They'll Get A Rope For Him. And That-A-Boy Daniel, Don't Let No Parents Tell You What's What Except Me. I've No Idea What Being A High School Coach Is Like, But You Get To See It First Hand. Sounds To Me Like You Handled It Well. And Whoever Gives Us The Best Chance Of Winning Would Be My Selection. But It's A Good Position For The Rebels To Be In With Two Able Bodied Quarterbacks. Myself I'd A Never Picked Bug To Be A Wide-Receiver, And He Almost Set A School Record And Made All State So Don't Ask My Opinion Of Who Should Do What.
But Is Huntingdon Coaches What You Was Hinting About?
Who's Looking Good At Wide Receiver?
Who's Toting The Mail?
Who's A Beast On Defense?
Who's kicking The Dam Thing?
And When Is Our Next Scrimmage?
Does Randy Dye His Hair?
I Hear Comer Shaves His Legs?
